So I bet you’re wondering who we are and what we’re about. The short answer: We’re a real company focused on helping job seekers win the jobs they deserve. The job where you enjoy the work, make a difference, and earn the salary that helps you achieve your goals.
Can we help you land your Dream Job?
We certainly think so. We’ve heard from thousands of our clients who have gotten that job offer. And everyday, we look for even more ways to make the job search simpler and faster.
Our mission is to help you define what you want, find those opportunities, and present your best self. We’ve filtered out the useless information to save you time, and we’ve developed the tools to make the whole process a lot less frustrating. The result is a more focused and faster search, more confidence and a lot of job offers.
The Dream Job Formula™ program advises job seekers in nearly every situation. These include:
- job seekers who faced layoffs and haven’t had to compete for a job in years,
- job seekers who are going after their dream job and want an edge,
- longtime working professionals, return to work moms, recent college graduates, inside job candidates
- marketing and sales managers, healthcare professionals, school teachers, administrators, C-level executives
…just to name a few.
Where did the program come from?
The entire program is the result of input from dozens of live workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions with hundreds of job seekers. It also incorporates feedback from recruiters, studies done at top academic research institutions, content from dozens of books, and the personal experience and expertise of the company’s founder, Alan Carniol.
While helping thousands of people find their career path and land jobs, Alan has also served as a consultant to Yale University Career Services, as an adjunct professor on careers at Quinnipiac University, and as the co-founder of Career Cadence. He has been published and quoted in dozens of articles, including: Forbes, TheLadders, Doostang, Monster, NY Daily News, US News and World Report, among others.
He created Dream Formula because, in his words,
Winning the right job is hard. It’s a skill that’s not taught in school, and once you’ve been working for a while, it becomes like a muscle that hasn’t been exercised – out of shape. There’s a ton of information out there, so much that I used to go crazy going after the new flavor of the month. But, this information never took me from start to finish and walked me through each step along the way. I developed this program because it was something I wanted for myself.
